Once again, it's the nation's favourite - in yet another way!.
On 29 September 2006, the aroma of fish and chips was named as Britain's favourite smell. The traditional takeaway topped a list of the nation's favourite smells, beating fresh coffee and flowers to the number one spot.
Other popular smells included freshly-cut grass, babies, fresh air after rain fall and clean sheets.
